Green Tech es conocido por enseñar disciplina a un joven y protegerlo de decisiones dañinas. En este viaje, necesita capacitación práctica en un entorno informado para integrar lo que aprende. Nuestro nuevo modelo de campus está diseñado para enfocar todas sus actividades académicas y extracurriculares en cuatro días completos en el sitio. Contará con una hora abierta para la comunidad del campus durante el almuerzo, donde un estudiante puede tener la libertad de participar en clubes (incluida nuestra nueva liga oficial de eSports), socializar con maestros y estudiantes, o almorzar donde elija (sin que nuestro cuerpo administrativo lo pierda de vista). ). Reconocemos que un joven necesita disciplina, pero también necesita tanta libertad como pueda manejar. Esta experiencia única en el campus contribuirá en gran medida a darle las riendas que necesita a través de la exploración y la responsabilidad.
Los viernes virtuales son un día escolar obligatorio, pero los estudiantes asistirán a clases desde la comodidad de su hogar. Este es un modelo educativo probado y comprobado que ha tenido un gran éxito este último año. Los viernes, los estudiantes se reúnen con sus maestros asesores y tienen servicios dirigidos por un instructor para ayudarlos a mejorar sus calificaciones, así como asambleas virtuales en toda la escuela. Aprovechamos el día para adoptar un enfoque holístico de la educación, centrándonos en la vida social y desarrollo emocional.
Hay un nivel adicional de ventaja en nuestro enfoque de Virtual Friday. Al mantener una parte de las estructuras de enseñanza únicas que creamos para abordar el COVID, nos mantenemos listos para brindar el más alto nivel de educación a nuestros jóvenes, sin importar lo que suceda en el mundo exterior.

En Green Tech tenemos una reputación de excelencia académica y atlética y nuestra nueva frontera está en el campo de los deportes electrónicos. Estamos lanzando un nuevo equipo oficial de eSports VARSITY donde los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de competir en equipos de juego de última generación, jugar los juegos más nuevos y tener la oportunidad de ganar becas y premios en efectivo en torneos locales y nacionales.
Los jóvenes negros, marrones y de bajos ingresos están subrepresentados en el mundo de los deportes electrónicos aficionados y profesionales, pero no están subrepresentados en el talento. El mundo de los eSports está en auge, con la NBA iniciando su propia liga profesional NBA2K e inversores de todo el mundo generando oportunidades en este campo en crecimiento. En Green Tech, estamos aquí para cerrar la brecha, para poner el control... y el controlador en manos de nuestros estudiantes y ayudarlos a alcanzar sus sueños.
